mail merge does not print where it should
I bought a new printer today - a HP c4280. I need to print invitations and
my old ink jet couldn't deal with the paper. Anyway - the mail merge looks perfect in Word (2003). But it prints near the top of the envelope, instead of in the center where I have it. I think the merge is correct because I tried it in my older ink jet and also a laser printer - even though the quality was poor or they got jammed, they were generally centered as they were in Word. One issue I noticed is that the printer doesn't seem to have the envelope size I'm using - A9. I tried HP - they could not help (after 1.5 hrs)....any suggestions please??? Larry |
