Can the text to voice feature read my text documents to me in the computer's
voice?

Depends on what versions of Windows and Office you have. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306902 "How To Configure and Use
Text-to-Speech in Windows XP". Then, after you install all of the
Alternative User Input features from the Office XP or Office 2003 CD,
you can select the "Speak Text" option from the Language toolbar in Word.
