Writing over selected text
when i select text and try to write over it the text doesn't get deleted,
what i type in is just inserted at the front of the text i had selected. Tried switching overwrite on but no change. |

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the Edit tab and check
the box in front of "Typing replaces selection". -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
