Default Change default setting for how a Word document opens in email?

When I open a Word document attached to an email in Outlook, it always opens
in "preview" view. How do I change the default setting so that it opens in
print layout?

If you are referring to Reading Layout view (Full Screen Reading view in
Word 2007), here's how to turn it off:

- Tools | Options, General tab. Clear the "Allow starting in Reading Layout"
option. Click OK. (Word 2003)

- Office button | Word Options, Popular category. Clear the "Open e-mail
attachments in Full Screen Reading view" option. (Word 2007)
