Hi,

I would like to learn how to link from Word document to Word document at
different locations.

Ex: Student.doc in H drive will be automatically updated when I make some
changes in Student.doc in I drive. Please help.

Thanks

Default Linking Word Documents

You can link documents with INCLUDETEXT fields. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfm...ldscontent.htm.

However, in this case it seems as if you are trying to create a backup. See
the "Save document to two locations" section of the article at
http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm for instructions.
