How to stop word from adding carriage returns?
I use an application that launches Word to to transcriptions. The application
uses stored templates. When creating a template it gets saved with a hard carrige return after every line even if one was not inserted. thansk |

It is your application that is doing this. If the transcript has already
been typed in a different application, your application is making sure that the lines and pages stay the same by putting returns at the end of every line. If you take them out, I would guess that you will get differences between the printed transcript and what you have in Word.
