Why can't I use Word's format painter with a split window
I'm a long-time Word user [since 2.0], and unsure how to resolve this:
I split a window in a Word 2003 doc so that I could copy the formatting from something in the top of the document to something on the bottom--without having to scroll down. This does not work. Word seems to treat them as different docs. The mouse pointer even changes shape [back to normal arrowehead] when hovering over the lower, target window. Is this behavior a 'feature'--or a bug? Have you tried using Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V to copy and paste
formats? -- Suzanne S.
