edit excel chart when it has been pasted into word
Previuosly when using office 2000, i would copy and paste excel charts into
word and be able to edit them in word for basic functions such as change the x axis label. However, in 2003 unless i specfiy the chart as an excel chart when pasting, it changes to a picture format and i cannot edit the chart. Is there a way of changing the 'picture' format back to an excel chart? |

edit excel chart when it has been pasted into word
Hi ?B?c25lbGx5?=,
Previuosly when using office 2000, i would copy and paste excel charts into word and be able to edit them in word for basic functions such as change the x axis label. However, in 2003 unless i specfiy the chart as an excel chart when pasting, it changes to a picture format and i cannot edit the chart. Is there a way of changing the 'picture' format back to an excel chart? No, the default was changed (because it results in smaller file sizes). You could, however, record a macro when pasting as a "real chart". Assign the macro to a toolbar button and/or a keyboard shortcut and use that in place of Word's paste command.
