Click OK. Click the Developer tab in the ribbon. In the Controls group, click the Legacy Tools button. The check box is in the Legacy Forms row of the gallery. To make the check box (and other form fields in that group) operate, you need to click the Protect Document button on the Developer ribbon (it's also on the Review ribbon) and choose to protect for filling in forms. This may not be what you intended, as it prevents changes anywhere in the document except in the form fields. Another approach, that doesn't require protecting the form but does require macros, is at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Add_Toggle_Objects.htm. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
