Default manage styles in a template

I need to create a series of Word documents to be used as templates in our
office. There will be styles applied to the template, how can I stop text
copied into the document from taking on random styles? Is it possible to
stop new styles being defined in the document? we are using Office XP.

If you're creating templates, you can include this macro on a toolbar
button, or even make the clipboard button run this macro:
