Color Scheme: Color Tweaking? (Word 07)
I find that on my Notebook computer the Silver and Black color schemes are
not quite the right colors for my taste. The Black is so black that the Quick Access Toolbar icons are hard to decipher. It needs to be lightened. The Silver has too much blue for my taste. (The Silver color looks fine on my desktop; difference in monitors, I guess.) Can these be changed easily? I could not find how to do so after checking through all the option under Word Options. This isn't really an Office question because Office gives you three choices,
period. To tweak the colors you would have to change the display of your screen. -- JoAnn Paules Microsoft MVP - Publisher How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "Davack" wrote in message ... Within the programming of Word there is specification for the color(s). My
question is whether Microsoft allows developers to access that spec. Color Scheme: Color Tweaking? (Word 07)
See my later post entitled "Black Color Scheme: Problem when QAT ABOVE
Ribbon". The problem went away when using Black simply by switching the Quick Access Toolbar BELOW the Ribbon. Hence, my issue is resolved as far a being able to read the QAT icons. I would still prefer to have it above. If Microsoft fixes the bug, I'll change back.
