Default when using the print preview option document disappears

Recently when my secretary uses the "print preview" option in word, only a
blank document is displayed and printed. This option has worked fine in the
past and this phenomenon has only been noticed this week.

Possibly the text is formatted as Hidden? Or it is all in a text box and
"Drawing objects" is not checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options?
