Prompt for document properties in Word 2007?
I'm trying to find the tool in Word 2007 that helps you create a summary of
the document. It used to be in Word 2000. When you used the tool it highlighted key points in your document that helped in writing a summary page. Do you know how to do this? Or where I can find the tool? I haven't been able to get help on this through the search/help buttons. Thanks, Nancy "marshall" wrote: On Mar 10, 9:21 pm, "marshall" wrote: On Sep 18 2006, 11:55 pm, "Herb Tyson [MVP]" wrote: Propertiesare still there, but the Prompt is gone. Prompt for document properties in Word 2007?
You need to add it to the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT):
a. Go to Office Button (at the top left)-Word Options-Customize b. In "Choose commands from" select "Commands not in the ribbon" c. scroll down the list until you find "Autosummary Tools" and select it d. use the Add button to add it to the QAT You should see the new command in the QAT, to the right of the Office button, or wherever you located it.
