Default What happened to Word?

I upgraded the OS and did not reinstall Office 2000 Premum, instead optioned
to go with Works Suite 2005 as I no longer require full Office program. The
Word 2005 in Works suite is almost totally different and I do not like it.
Will I have to uninstall Works Suite (not activated yet) and custom install
the Word 2000 premum to return Word back as it was. Anu suggestions. Thanks.

The version of MS Word in MS Works Suite is
Word 2002. The basic operations weren't
changed too much although you may be seeing added features
(check in Help for 'What's New')

The Taskpane on the right side of the screen
The Drawing Canvas when you insert a graphic

Those and others can be changed to work more like
the older versions, but some of the new features can
be useful.

Do you have specific items you're interested in addressing?
