Default Is there a way of comparing several versions of a word document?

Due to the incorrect saving of a document (my Auntie's life story), there are
several different versions at different stages of update in Word. They vary
from 50 pages to 120 pages in length, but because she was adding to the first
document she could see and not necessarily to the most recently updated, she
has added bits and pieces to the versions in an ad hoc manner and not to the
latest version.
Is there a way to merge the documents into one document containing all the
variances in each of the individual documents? Even if it can be done two
documents at a time, that would be better than having to physically read and
compare each document, then cut and paste.
Cheers!
