The default is that if you type three equal signs "===" in a row and press
Enter it will be converted into a double line paragraph border. Three hyphens will turn into a single line border. There are others as well. See http://addbalance.com/word/borders.htm for more on this. It is an AutoCorrect AutoFormat as you type option. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. Most people turn it off, since it tends to annoy more than help.
