Default autoformat or shortcut

is there a shortcut that turns equal signs into a page-width separator line?

The default is that if you type three equal signs "===" in a row and press
Enter it will be converted into a double line paragraph border. Three
hyphens will turn into a single line border. There are others as well. See
http://addbalance.com/word/borders.htm for more on this. It is an
AutoCorrect AutoFormat as you type option.

Most people turn it off, since it tends to annoy more than help.
