Default How do I merge a large spreadsheet with people attending an event?

I have a large spreadsheet with that I have put a Y or N to mark if they can
or can't attend the event for several different people (all under different
columns). How can I merge just the people that have accepted the invitation
and leave out those who can't attend?

It depends on the version of Word, but once you have connected to the
data source, look for Edit-Recipients, and select the dropdown at the
top of the column where you are putting your Ys and Ns, and select Y (or
select "Advanced..." - then you should see a dialog box which lets you
set up various criteria.

Hi dawn,

Another way would be to use a SKIPIF field coded as:
{SKIPIF{MERGEFIELD YesNo \* Upper}= "N*"}
where 'YesNo' is the name of the field containing the responses.

Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created via Ctrl-F9 - you can't simply type them or copy & paste
them from this message.
