How does one activate the "Insert AutoText" option?
I just installed MS Office 2003 Pro and when using Word, I do not see entries
in the "View Header and Footer Insert AutoText" entry. When I display the drop-down, it is empty. If I go to the Add Remove buttons, "Insert AutoText" is grayed out. Any ideas how to solve this? Stefan |

How does one activate the "Insert AutoText" option?
The function works in conjunction with paragraph styles. If there are none
shown in the header view there are no autotext entries defined in the paragraph style there. The usual reason for this is that you have saved a document as normal.dot. Rename normal.dot to recover the default settings. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Stefan wrote: I just installed MS Office 2003 Pro and when using Word, I do not see entries in the "View Header and Footer Insert AutoText" entry.
