Default What is a line break character?

Line break is displayed as a right-angle arrow. Paragraph break as a pilcrow
(like a reversed P with a double vertical stroke). Switch on your
non-printing characters and insert one to see.

Shift+Enter to enter it; for its onscreen representation, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm. To search for it in
the Find dialog use ^l (lowercase L).
