Default AutoSave

I am not sure if this is the approrpriate forum, but here goes. Can anyone
tell me if I am running Word 2003 and have folder redirection in place for
MyDocuments, and the server connection is lost, would the AutoSave feature
kick in??

Many thanks for your input.

Default AutoSave

The AutoSave option in Word doesn't really work like most people
would think, and some people would say the option doesn't work at
all. See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/AutomaticSave.htm
, http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm , and
http://www.gmayor.com/save_numbered_versions.htm .
