Conditional mail merge calculation not printing
I have the following field in my document:
{IF {MERGEFIELD "Type"}="A""""{MERGEFIELD "Base"}/2 \# "$0.00 }"} When I "merge to a new document"the value shows up (If there is a value there). However when i "merge to printer", the value doesn't print out. Is there anything that i can do to make the field print out when I merge to printer? I'm trying to do this in Word 2002 |

Your syntax is somewhat awry
Try { IF{ Mergefield Type } "A" "{ =({ Mergefield Base }/2) \# ",$0.00" }"} -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Stevieb19 wrote: I have the following field in my document: {IF {MERGEFIELD "Type"}="A""""{MERGEFIELD "Base"}/2 \# "$0.00 }"} When I "merge to a new document"the value shows up (If there is a value there). Thanks Graham,
I've amended the field like you said, however it still will not print the value out when I "merge to printer". Is there anything that I can do to make get tha value to print out? Under ToolsOptionsPrint, make sure that the Update Fields box is checked.
