Default view reduction when text box inserted

Please help. I downloaded a word file to print, and now whenever I use insert
or I change text direction, the view automatically changes to print layout
and it is really small to where I can not see anything except a small white
page. When I try to change it back to normal view, it doesn't look how I
want it.

You just need to change the Zoom ratio to 100% or whatever is required to
make it readable.
