More Header/Footer entries in AutoText: Last Revision Date/Time
Currently there is no provision in Word to record in AutoText the last time
changes or revisions have been made to a document. This is critical to document control if there is more than one copy of a document printed and out among the population. If we could choose this option within the AutoText Header and Footer commands, any printed copies of a document would automatically show the latest revision date/time just as it does for Last Printed, Last saved by, etc. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. More Header/Footer entries in AutoText: Last Revision Date/Time
You can create any AutoText entries you like. Using the Header or Footer
style, insert a SaveDate field, save it as an AT entry, and it will appear on the Header and Footer toolbar menu. -- Suzanne S.
