[Rob Drummond, Jr]

I have a Word document that has an imbeded excel file in it (being used as a
form). I would like to "export" the spreadsheet back into Excel to allow me
to manipulate (i.e. add formula's and the such). Is this possible? I have
looked at the menu's and do nto see an obvious "Export imbeded spreadsheet to
Excel" option.

If it is actually an embedded Excel workbook object you should only need to
double-click it to edit in Excel. There's no need [or option] to "export"
the object. Click outside the object when done.

Well, apparently it is NOT an Excel file, but a table created within word.
Very frustrating. I guess I will have to re-create it in Excel. Thank for
the help.

I'm not sure that will solve the problem :-)

Considering your statement "being used as a form" ‹ If users are expected to
enter information into that area they won't be able to do so if it is
inserted as an OLE Object... Unless they dbl-clk it to edit in Excel. That's
probably why it was created as a Word Table in the first place. If you're
going to 'recreate it' in Excel you'll have to paste it back in as a Word
Table anyway, so why not just modify the table in the first place?
