Default Font compatibility with other users

Word 2002 SP3 on Win XP HE
Follow-up to: microsoft.public.word.printingfonts

Hi,
I have a document that I need to email to many external recipients.
The document is formatted using Verdana fonts, condensed by 0.3 pt.
I am wondering if this could creata a problem for recipients becuase of
the font or its customization or; should I not worry about it since all
recipients will have Word in any event--which should display the
document correctly.
(I have thought of replacing font with Helvetica--not condensed--but my
understanding is that Helvetica is not a font that users generally have.)
Tx for the comments.
