Default How do I make the ruler show the header area in Word?

The ruler on the left side of the screen no longer shows an un-hi-lited area
to indicate the header area. When I type, the characters start in the very
first line of the page, although when I look at the print preview my document
appears normally with the print starting where the top margin should be. What
did I do? I can't change the ruler back.
