Default Word 2003 cross-reference error

I'm having an error when using Word 2003 and the cross-reference feature (in addition to a few other fields). The cross references are automatically changing when printed, printed to pdf and when I hit the preview button.
Any idea?.
Thank in advance for yours time.

Solution:

Searching and searching, I have found the solution, I saw that when I go to print or to hit in the preview botton, the field update it self. I saw that there was a mistake with the reference after update, all of they have the same ref (_Ref249586 \h). The solution is change type of reference from REF to STYLEREF,
-Modified field.
-Pick StyleRef
-Field Property/ choise [Title]
