Unusual characters
I use Word 2000. Every once in a while when I get a Word attachment from
another user and I go and copy the text, the text will appear in that program with the fonts encoded. I then would have to create and paste the text in a new email and it works that way. Anyone know why that happens? |

Ryan: are you saying you open the Word document and try to copy and paste the
information into a new document? Or are you saying when you open the attachment (after saving it to your computer, first) you are seeing the encoding? You should be able to just download or detach the file from your email to a local drive and open it in Word. If the send has a more recent version of Word, they need to remember to save it as the file type Word 97 to [newest version].doc. ~ivcchelpdesk "Ryan" wrote: I use Word 2000.
