Pagemaker is overwriting my Template menu - why?
I have a .dot in my Startup directory (on a network drive), but when I
install Adobe Pagemaker, the Adobe menu makes my menu disappear. The Adobe.dot is in the C:\Program Files...\Startup directory, not the one in Tools-Options-File Locations, so is there a priority to Startup directories or what? |

Adobe's add-ins are frequent causes of problems with Word and can tend to
cause personal menus disappear. First thing to check is that the add-in is suitable for your version of Word. If not and there is no update remove it. Do you actually need it? See http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm which explains some of the issues involved with another of Adobe's errant add-ins. The Pagemaker add-in can almost certainly be handled in the same way. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Bruce In Brisbane, Australia wrote: I have a .dot in my Startup directory (on a network drive), but when I install Adobe Pagemaker, the Adobe menu makes my menu disappear.
