All my MSWord documents characters have changed to square characters or
codes. How I make them go back to english characters.

Follow this arcle and it may help you . If still not able to open most
probably it is corrupted.

If you are using File | Open, make sure the menu in the Open dialog is *not*
set to Recover Text From Any File.
