Default Footnote

How do I enlarge the Footnote area in the bottom of the page so all my
footnotes are shown on the page?

Default Footnote

This should happen automatically. If footnotes don't fit on the page, Word
should be carrying the text with the footnote reference to the next page as
well. Is this not happening for you?

No sometimes when I have more than one footnote on one page I get the text
with last footnote on the end of a page and the footnote on the nest page.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...OnDiffPage.htm

Note, too, that I recently discovered something that can affect footnote
placement. Ordinarily, Space After in paragraph formatting is suppressed at
the bottom of a page. I found that this is apparently not true when there
are footnotes. So sometimes text or footnotes will move to the next page
even when there appears to be plenty of room for them. Removing the Space
After from the last paragraph on the page will allow them all to fit.
