Excel Links breaking when Layout In Front of Text
I have Pasted Special links to Excel workbooks in a Word 07 file. These
links update and work perfectly, however when the layout is changed to "In Front of Text" the links no longer update (automatically or manually). The issue was troubleshooted in Word 03 and proved not to be an issue, but is in any Word 07 file that I have attempted. -- dannyf |

Excel Links breaking when Layout In Front of Text
The link is broken when you change the layout and the Excel object is
inserted into the document. If you want the linked object to float over the text, paste it into a (borderless) text box and let that float. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org dannyf wrote: I have Pasted Special links to Excel workbooks in a Word 07 file.
