How do I globally update fields in many headers?
I have cross references in headers for several sections of a document but I
can't seem to update all of these in one shot. I need to enter each header separately and update them with ctl-a, F9 for every section. Selecting all with ctl-a outside of a header selects only the objects outside headers. No header cross references are updated. |

No header cross references are updated. Make sure you have the "Update fields" option checked in Tools Options Print. Switch to Print Preview and then back to Print Layout view. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
