G'Day
Under Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates, delete the Normal.dot file. Word will make a new one next time you use the program. You need to view hidden folders to find this. Nope. This has nothing to do with normal.dot, it has to do with Autocorrect
settings. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. Not really. And if it's happening in all docs, it needs to be fixed in
Normal.dot (by checking "Add to template" after disabling "Automatically update" in the Style dialog). -- Suzanne S.
