Default normal.dot

something has changed on the normal.dot, now if i bold one word, it bolds the
whole document, then an undo correct the problem, same with changing font
size, color and almsot every other feature.

i am sure a setting was inadvertantly changed...how to reset ??

G'Day

Under Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates, delete the Normal.dot
file.
Word will make a new one next time you use the program.

You need to view hidden folders to find this.

Nope. This has nothing to do with normal.dot, it has to do with Autocorrect
settings.

Not really. And if it's happening in all docs, it needs to be fixed in
Normal.dot (by checking "Add to template" after disabling "Automatically
update" in the Style dialog).
