Default turn off spacing after periods

Help. I had to switch to MS Word 2003. I hate the auto spacing after periods
and other punctuation. How do I turn it off?

There is no auto spacing after periods and other punctuation in Word 2003.
This must be a result of some AutoCorrect entry or an add-in.

In having to 'make the switch', might you or someone else have changed
settings for Compatibility Options?

You might take a look at ToolsOptionsCompatibility, make sure Word 2002 is
set as the "Recommended options for:", then click the [Default] button to
reset if necessary.

Good Luck |:)
