Default Word will not download from disc. What do I do?

My boyfriend reformatted my operating system - I know, I know. Anyway, now
Word will not download from the disc I have and all of my Word files are lost
in the Zipped folder he backed up from old system. Any ideas on how to get it
to download and find the file path OR how to retrieve my lost, zipped files?

Zipped files are not lost.
Ask your boyfriend, if he still is your boyfriend.

Word does not download from a disk; it may install from one. Your
boyfriend's first job is to reinstall Word. Then move the documents from the
zip folder into your My Documents folder.

Also, tell boyfriend to screw up his own computer. I partly attribute my
happy marriage to having separate computers.
