Changing the number of Characters per line
I'm working on converting a document that has been set up only 70 characters
per line to a 100 characters per line. The entire document is in paragraphs of 70 characters per line and it take hours if I was to manually try and change it. Is there a way of formating the text of the document all at once so that I don't have to manually change each line? Hoping someone can help me out. Thanks! misty_fur |

Changing the number of Characters per line
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm.
After you've got rid of the line/paragraph breaks, change the font to a monospaced one such as Courier and set margins such that you get 100 characters per line; then save as .txt. -- Suzanne S. Thank you, Suzanne.
This has been driving me crazy for the past week and the link you provided was very helpful. mistyfur "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm.
