How do I Revert MS word doc to Courier new from wingdings3
I saved an MS Word Document, which was originally created and edited with
"Courier New" font, as a "Wingdings 3". When I tried to revert to Courier New, the letters were a series of meaningless boxes with dots between. Please advise on how I can recover the data. I am strongly convinced there was NO virus attack. Thank You. Am using XP Profesional..., Office 2003... |

How do I Revert MS word doc to Courier new from wingdings3
See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=290978. Although it says it
applies to Word 2002, the same article also applies to Word 2003. In the future, don't try to use Wingdings or other symbol fonts to hide information -- the trouble it causes just isn't worth it. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
