Default How to print labels on A4 paper?

The obvious solutions don't work. I am trying something very simple -
printing labels on A4 paper... The label types are within Word and show as A4
paper, but no matter what I do it keeps printing formatted to fit US 8 1/2" x
11" paper. I've reset all the buttons I can think of at all stages of the
process to accomodate A4 paper but I can only get it printing in the wrong
format - which doesn't fit my A4 lables! Even Custom sizing things isn't
working. Please help soon - Holiday cards are waiting!

Check the print properties for document scaling - and check the paper size
in the printer driver.

Also make sure that the option to allow A4/Letter resizing is not checked on
the Print tab of Tools | Options.
