how can I create a book with word 2000
I want to write a story for my grandsons using word and use landscape setting
and have it continue over to the other half of the page so I can then fold in half and staple together. |

You can either use text boxes to set up your layout, or I
believe you can select a template which has that layout you want. With Text boxes, you can connect the boxes to have the text flow from one to another and you can set them onto the page any way you desire. |

Not recommended. Word allows only 32 linked text boxes, and even that many

Word has the facility for booklet printing but, and sorry if sounds like a heresy hereabouts, I'd suggest that you look at a dtp package such as Publisher if you're going to do much of what sounds like an excellent project. Word 2000 does *not* have a booklet-printing feature, which is why the

My apologies if I caused confusion - I appreciate that Word 2000 has no booklet-printing feature; however, my saying that Word "has the facility for printing a booklet" (as per the link above) may have given the impression that there was a specific feature.
