I have looked and looked, but can't find where is option is. Can someone
please help?

Insert Page number

Select from: Top... Bottom...Page Margins... or Current position.

Scroll down the options until you get to Page x of y

Thank you, now how do you center the page number and put it on the QTA? Or do
like 2002 and add it to AutoText?

One of the options on the page number dropdown will center it though you can
place it wherever you like by selecting the footer and then View Ruler.

The centered ready-to-use option has a centered tab - have a look at that
and then you can use a left, right or centered tab to put the page numbers
just where you want them.

If you only want centered stuff in the footer, you can also use the Home
Paragraph Center
