"Do You Want to Save the Changes..."
I have this document that's 'read only'. Lately, whenever I open it and =
then close it, Word XP asks "Do you want to save the changes...?" What = changes did I make? All I did was to open the document to read it and = then close it. I didn't touch the keyboard, didn't make any changes. How = does Word ask me "do you want to save the changes...?" So I humored Word. I saved the document (under a different name, of = course) and then compared the two documents. No surprise: "Word found no = changes." How do I get Word to stop asking me to save this document when I didn't = make any changes? Len |
