How do I split a table cell diagonally (Word)?
I am trying to create a table for a coworker in which the cells within a
column a split on the diagonal (dividing line from top right to lower left). He has seen these on many forms, especially in the medical industry. |

This cannot be done in Word. And I don't think it would be easy to mock up
something which even came close. -- Enjoy, Tony "Kristy in Dallas" Kristy in wrote in message ... Not quite right Tony, though it does depend upon the version. With Word XP
and later, the Table Borders toolbar has buttons for Descending Right and Descending Left diagonals. The text that you type in the cell does not however pay any attention to the diagonals and it's a bit fiddly to separate what you want above the diagonal from what you want below it. -- Hope this helps. I would say that "a bit fiddly" was probably an understatement :-)
