how to open a scanned document saved as jpeg with word
Word can't 'open' a .jpeg - that's a graphic file format & Word is not a
graphics editor. It can be _displayed_ in a doc as a picture. Use Insert Picture From File to insert a copy into the doc. Keep in mind, though, that what you have is a *picture* of the original document, so if you're entertaining any thoughts of editing the text you might as well forget it There is no text to edit.
