How do I stop automatic repagination of Word documents?
When I make changes to a large document it frequently goes through a process
of updating the pagination. This takes a lot of time, and I would like to wait to repaginate until after I have made a lot of changes. |

In Print Layout view, no. In Normal view, yes, by clicking Tools |
Options | General tab | uncheck the "Background repagination" box | OK. Drew wrote: When I make changes to a large document it frequently goes through a process of updating the pagination. This takes a lot of time, and I would like to wait to repaginate until after I have made a lot of changes. |
