Why isn't there a cent ($.01) symbol in Microsoft Word?
This is driving me nuts! I cannot find the cent symbol anywhere. I have gone
to INSERT - SYMBOL - CURRENCY multiple times and tried ALT+ 1,0,6,2. None of it seems to work for me. If someone could please help it would be much appreciated. Thank You |

And, from the Menu Bar select Insert, Symbol
Under Font: (normal text) Subset: Latin-1 Supplement, scroll down and find the cent character. Regards Glennstuart. "Glennstuart" wrote: Hold down the Alt Key and press 0162 on the Number Keypad. There is a ¢ sign. Try Alt + 0162 instead of 1062.
Or...are you using a laptop? If so, you will probably have to hold the Fn key down as well as the Alt key. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Mwber62" wrote in message ...
