can't edit text-will only display
In word, I can open a document and read it (i.e a resume), but I can't edit
it. I was able to do this on a laptop I used to have, but can't on this one. |

Which version of Word are you using? Look in HelpAbout and tell us what
you see there... It sounds as though you might have only the Word Viewer installed, not Microsoft Word itself. Alternatively, look up "Protect Document" in the Help. You may have a document there that is protected against editing. The Help will tell you how to unlock it.
