Paste Table Into Table
Using Word 2003
What is the trick to copying a table from one document and pasting it into a cell in another table? When I do this, the format is a mess. I even used Paste Special and used all the choices and it still doesn't work. Thanks |

You may want to turn off auto resizing for the container table, and
then specify a "Preferred width" for the column containing the cell where you should paste the contained table. To turn off auto resizing for a table: On the Table menu, click Table Properties. Click the Table tab. Click Options. Clear the option to "Automatically resize to fit contents". After you've pasted the table into its "parent", use the appropriate TableAutoFit option to fit it into the cell. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Karen" wrote in message ...
