Ue word for a large template document for social services. Spell check stops
working half way through document. Spell checks unprotected sections up
until a certain poinst. Have clicked into an unprotected section and used
spell check (with deliberate errors), and does nothing.

Check that your text is not formatted to not check spelling or grammar.
Select the problem area and under Tools Language see if "Do not check
spelling or grammar" is either checked or gray. If either, check in the box
until it is clear.
