Default Pargraph numbers in Word 2003

I have a customer that has requested that the documents that we produce have
both line numbers and paragraph numbers. I know how to do the line numbers
but cannot find any help on paragraph numbers. Is this something that Word
can do?

You can use outline numbering to number paragraphs... see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...Numbering.html for one
way to set this up. If you don't need multilevel numbering, it might be
easier to just put a { SEQ } field at the beginning of each paragraph.
